UNIVERSAL COUNTING MACHINE
The patented universal DE LA BALLINA counting machine uses property artificial vision technology.
It works using shape recognition or 3D techniques, according to your products.
Vision counting system
The camera position above the machine identifies and defines the position of every product on the conveyor belt. The data sent by the camera is used:
- to count the products,
- to determine their position in order to separate them into batches of pre-defined quantities.
A «comb» made of independent fingers controlled by the vision system is placed across the conveyor. This comb only allows the right number of products through and immediately stops the other products.
The DE LA BALLINA counting machine was designed to obey the following rules:
- product batches must never contain count under specification,
- the comb must not touch or damage any products when in motion,
- the settings of the vision PLC are adjusted with an user friendly, color touch-sensitive screen. No special computer training is necessary.
- the standard version of the counting machine can store up to 1,000 product sheets,
- all your production data can be centralized on a PC.
